Choose the scope carefully
Extracting a relevant section can reduce clutter, but removing context may change its meaning. Include definitions and references the reader needs to understand the selection.
Do not confuse extraction with redaction
A page extractor removes whole pages from a new copy. It does not securely remove text or private information from a retained page. Use a verified redaction workflow when that is the actual requirement.
Keep the source separate
The downloaded PDF is a derivative copy. Preserve the complete original and label the extract clearly so the reader understands what it contains.
